Sega have revealed Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution at a recent private show held in Tokyo. This major upgrade features 2 new characters - Brad Burns, and Goh Hinogami, with fighting styles of Kick Boxing and Judo, respectively. This latest version also includes various play modes, revamped stage environments, new moves for existing characters, and some new animations for existing moves.

Due in Japanese arcades sometime in the Summer, and hopefully (fingers crossed) in other arcades soon after. No official announcements have been made for a console port.

Nutlog's Damage Scaling FAQ is now available under the VF4 section. What's it all about? Precisely as the name suggests, and to quote from the FAQ:

"The purpose of this FAQ is to explain how damage can scale in a combo under the VF4 engine. This can help those who are creative enough, build their own combos and judge practicality vs. difficulty in trying something new."
